Inspiration: Relaxed spirit, free and easy - A sense of humor is key – not taking yourself too seriously. Classic American sportswear reinterpreted, blending different aspects of American style. Shapes: A classic American staple – the t-shirt – is modern in sequins, washed leather and textured knits for a fresh take on the original. Oversized t-shirts done in unexpected fabrications. Hemlines are short, cigarette and cargo pants rolled at the ankle are key. Prints/Colors/Detailing: Utilitarian and sporty elements – zippers, grommets, studs. Blossom print, mixed with gingham and tie dye. A palette of soft ivory, khakis, metallics and blues with splashes of candy colors like garden green, fuchsia and yellow. Fabrics: Leather, denim and sequin embellished pieces are important. Vintage washes and treatments on washed leather and denim, utilitarian cotton, knits. Accessories: Statement bracelets and necklaces. Unstructured bags, washed luggage leather for a vintage feel, grommet detailing, painterly prints done on snake printed leather, chain mail and canvas.
